AGENDA: PRESENTATION: John Wiseman with Greenwood Capital regarding Update of Greenwood County Operating and Electric Capital Accounts; OLD BUSINESS: Ordinance 2018-16 providing for the adoption for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2018, of operating and capital budgets for the operation of the government of Greenwood County, the identification of the sources of anticipated revenue including taxes necessary to meet the financial requirements of the budgets adopted, the levy and collection of taxes necessary to meet all county purposes, including payment of the principal and interest on outstanding indebtedness of Greenwood County and bonded indebtedness of the Greenwood Metropolitan District payable during the aforesaid fiscal year, the expenditure of the aforesaid taxes and other revenues coming to Greenwood County during the aforesaid fiscal year, the establishment of rates and fees, and the other matters relating to Greenwood County; Ordinance 2018-17 providing for a levy of taxes for educational purposes in Greenwood County, an appropriation for the said purposes for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2018, and other matters relating thereto. NEW BUSINESS: Consideration of the Appointment of Tax Commissioners for the following Subdivisions: Chinquapin – David Dougherty, District Four Chinquapin – April Prince, District Four Chinquapin – Gerald (Jerry) Stevens, District Four Creekside – David Crotts, District Seven Idlewood – John Hasting, District Six Woodbury – Leigh Ann Hanke, District Four; Consideration of H-Tax application for Town of Ninety Six in the amount of $15,500 for SC Festival of Stars; Resolution 2018-11 consenting to and approving of the annexation of the J.C. Fox Boozer Complex into the corporate limits of the Town of Ninety Six; Resolution 2018-12 considering a Petition by 15% of the electors of Newport Subdivision requesting an election be held to approve the formation of a Special Tax District for Newport Subdivision, a proposed Resolution certifying the Petition and ordering that a special election be held pursuant to S.C. Code §4-9-30(a)(i), and other matters related thereto.
